hopeless virgins in love - greenscreen test

This clip has nothing whatsoever to do with the content of the movie I'm working on. I decided to do a quick greenscreen / compositing test to see whether I could get away with using effect shots for a couple of scenes in the movie. In particular, some driving scenes were starting to concern me. I would prefer to avoid some of the sound, safety, performance, and logistical issues involved in having actors driving or being towed while filming.

So I bought a swatch of greenscreen for $3.50 and tried to figure out what to do with it. Since the screen was only 12 inches by 12 inches, the only logical thing to do was make little hand puppet gestures in front of it and then use the magic of special effects to make it look like my hand is walking out of my apartment.

By the way, the music, which I do not have the rights to, is from a band called Sumack, and they are great. The song is called Crystal Man and it is off their first album. The band is no longer together, but their lead singer, Mark McAdam has a new album out (it's also on iTunes) that I love. I met the drummer through my pal Rick a few years ago and I'm still hoping I'll be able to convince them to use some of their songs in this movie.
